This past Saturday, IPD had the pleasure of sponsoring our first South Bay Boardriders Contest. The contest ran at Manhattan Beach, nestled nicely at the southern end of Los Angeles, and featured multiple generations of local surfers.
Along with other local surf shops, Dane Zaun and the IPD crew were enlisted to help spread stoke to the contestants and beachgoers. Along with standard heats, we held a “sandiest grom” competition, and provided a variety of different prizes for the various champions.
Those who entered the contest were greeted with playful chest to head high peaks, and the local crew was ripping the bag out of the conditions. While we covered the event in some of our recent instagram posts, you can check out the full event photo gallery at the link below.
