BECK TAKES A TRIP UP THE COAST

BECK TAKES A TRIP UP THE COAST

Scoring good waves requires a lot more than just rocking up to the parking lot. Proper swell, correct tide, good wind, and a bit of luck are all necessary ingredients for a successful wave-chase cocktail. More often than not, at least one of these variables swings in the wrong direction, and average waves ensue. Fortunately, this doesn’t mean having fun is off the table. Every surfer knows just how fun some sloppy waves can be, given the right attitude and the right crew.

For Beck Adler and Noah Hill, their wave chase up the California coast didn’t exactly check the “perfect wave” box. However, between their wave riding talent and their friendship, they managed to have a pretty solid time.

Presented by IPD, their clip “Every Dog Has Its Day” follows their road-trip from Venice Beach to Santa Cruz. Not only is it a showcase of the two surfers’ ability to huck tail, it’s also a reminder that perfect waves aren’t a requirement for a damn fun surf trip.

All you really need is one good friend and some Denny’s breakfast.
