We’re in the thick of summer at this point. Traditionalists would say memorial day is the unofficial start, labor day is the unofficial end, and the fourth is the unofficial midpoint. While it might not have been the hottest start out here in our backyard of Orange County, California, it has started to crank up the heat these recent weeks. Hot and perfect for a beach day during the day, with early mornings and nights maybe calling for a fleece or long sleeve shirt. We’ve been lucky to have a nice run of south swell, both providing early season swell as well as water temps that have been inching closer to 70 degrees.
With all this being said, we thought it was the perfect time to drop some new goods, hoping to cover all the bases you’ll need from July through September. Let’s quickly break down all the new stuff that has landed on the site:
Board shorts: Three new styles, all for varying looks. Two 20” board shorts, one camo, one more of a tonal floral. The Rudy Short, featuring an all over flower print in an earth tone tan and fun blue, perfect to match the ocean.

Fleece: While it may be pretty warm, there’s always an occasion to rock a fleece whether the sun has set or you are just hanging out in the AC. As nice as the beach days and surf can be, sometimes you just need to hang inside next to the fan to cool the sunburn. Rock the DUALITY or COLLECTIVE fleece when it makes sense (probably not at the beach when it’s 85 out).
